Services & Farm Commitment

ALPACA SALES - STUD SERVICE - BOARDING - BROKERING - TRANSPORT - CONSULTING – FINANCING

v     Female breeding stock:  Maidens are sold with a *complimentary breeding to one of our herd sires. Bred Females are sold with *one free breed back to one of our herd sires. ***These commitments have significant ‘added value’ to your purchase! Compare and realize values amounting to  thousands of dollars.

v     World Class Stud Service with discounts for multiple breedings! All breedings come with a 14 day ‘Live Birth’ guarantee.  For females that remain on our farm for breeding purposes, we will provide free board for her and her cria for up to 60 days, and confirm pregnancy with a progesterone or ultrasound test at our discretion.

v     Live Birth Guarantee defined: We guarantee that a live cria will be born to Owner’s dam as a result of this stud service. This guarantee will be satisfied if the cria survives 14 days after birth. In the event that the cria does not survive 14 days, a free rebreeding will be provided.

v     Free 6 months agistment (boarding) for all breeding quality alpacas purchased from us!  Longer term agistment available at reasonable prices ($2-$3 per day), includes routine maintenance care & computerized tracking of medical,  reproduction, fiber & history while here. Veterinary services will be billed directly to purchaser.

v     Brokering the sale of your alpaca would include: marketing the animal, if the animal is boarded at our farm we would show the animal to potential customers, negotiate contract, assist in transfer of registration and help arrange transport. A brokerage fee of 10-15 % (depending on extent of marketing) of total sale price would be due upon completion of sale. Everyone has differing sales abilities and time constraints, we offer full service sales and brokering of  your alpacas so that you can be free to benefit from alpaca ownership with out involving yourself in the needed details to market and sell your alpaca stock.

v     Consultation will be provided, along with demonstrations, for alpaca care and maintenance, farm lay out, business planning and marketing. We are always available to help answer questions and offer guidance or referrals.

v     Financing of purchased alpacas is available with 25% down at prime + 1% up to 4 years. This ‘On Farm’ financing makes the purchase and investing in alpacas very affordable and appealing, allowing you to leverage your dollars for initial purchases or building up your herd without emptying your bank account!

To Buyers Of Alpacas, We Commit To:

1. Provide full disclosure of the animal’s known physical condition, fiber, health care, vaccinations, and breeding history. The husbandry records in written format will be provided to the buyer.
2. Assure animals offered for sale are behaviorally sound.
3. All animal sales agreements and guarantees will be in writing and signed by both seller and buyer.
4. Provide the buyer with a copy of the registration certificate containing the pedigree record of each purchased alpaca and comply in a timely manner with current procedures for transferring ownership.
5. At the time designated for delivery of the alpaca(s) to the buyer, the alpaca(s) will be current for vaccinations, worming, toenail and teeth trimming consistent with the husbandry practices of the selling breeder.
6. Provide information, training and advice about alpaca care, diet, pasturage, shelter and other necessary information to the buyer.
